The prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam is the most beautiful person ever created, and whenever we see beauty, we are encouraged to say a prayer on the prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam, as the beauty we see should remind us and help us reflect on how beautiful the prophet salla’allahu ‘alayhi wasalam was- we have not seen him, but we can only imagine his beauty. Thus, whenever we perceive anything beautiful, in effect, we are acknowledging and sending a prayer upon the prophet salla’Allahu ‘alayhi wasalam. Sorry, its a bit hard to explain in words- but this is just my very limited understanding of it. Its hard to explain in words…. sorry if this wasn’t useful!

The Muslim Kid
Assalamu Aliekum,
I’m a die hard fan of your blog. You have amazing stuff by some of the most amazing people in our dean (Imam Ghazali, Rumi, past scholars, current scholars) I really appreciate it. The material on this blog is truly helpful as opposed to someone’s views on a certain issue which is only so valuable. This stuff is gold. I must have reposted things from this blog many times to my Facebook and I have friends who have reposted that. (Giving you credit by linking back to the original post of course).
Your thoughts for Ramadan that you post everyday gives me a great source for a new status everyday! Alhumdulillah.
I am also doing similar where I reflect, err, basically, type up what Shaykh Hussain says at a talk after Fajr everyday. Alhumdulillah, while not as many people who probably read your blog read it, a lot of my friends who aren’t able to come to the Masjid that day can benefit.
I know I have seen some content from Shaykh Hussain on this blog so I assume you know how amazing he is! As you’ve guessed by now, I’m from Chicago.
Anyway, just saying Salam! Keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Faique
