The Smallest of Pebbles……
…. that’s tossed in a pond
makes ripples that reach far and wide,
just as the smallest of kindnesses shown
can touch someone deeply inside….
So we shouldn’t dismiss
any words that we’ve spoken
nor small, thoughtful gestures we’ve made-
For they’ve each left a mark
as they’ve reached someone’s heart
with a comfort that won’t quickly fade!
